The life skills cafe group visited Doncaster today for an end of term reward for all their hard work in the cafe this term.
Learners travelled by train, demonstrating appropriate travel training/road safety etc.
The group had chosen to visit Cosmo for lunch and they demonstrated excellent literacy & numeracy skills including; Speaking/listening, reading timetables and menus, using money & telling the time on analogue & digital clocks. The learners behaved impeccably at all times and interacted well with peers, shopkeepers/restaurant staff and members of the public.
